A LITTLE QUIET, JUST FOR ANNA
The world
can wait,
my love.
You don’t have to figure everything out right now.
Come as you are. Let’s make this moment a little softer.
a little place where you can just be.
Nothing to prove. Nothing to rush.
ONE SMALL MOMENT AT A TIME
What would feel kind right now?
Pick a little pause, if you like. There’s no right way to do this.
A LITTLE ROOM TO BREATHE
Let’s slow down,
just a little.
Rest your feet somewhere comfortable. Let your shoulders soften, if that feels good.
Follow the circle only if it helps. Breathe gently, without forcing or holding your breath. Your own pace is always okay.
Or stay here, and breathe naturally.
BACK TO THIS LITTLE MOMENT
Find five things
you can see.
Look around gently. A colour, a shadow, the edge of something nearby. Name five things to yourself, at your own pace.
Take all the time you need.
FOR THE SUNNY DAYS.
AND THE CLOUDY ONES, TOO.
A LITTLE LOVE LETTER
My sweet Anna,
I look at this photo of us and all I can think is how much I love being close to you. Your face next to mine, a little moment that belongs to us. I could look at it a hundred times and still smile.
I love your smile, your kisses, and the way you make me want to tell you every little thing about my day. Even when nothing special has happened, you’re the person I want to share it with.
There are so many things I want to do with you: slow mornings, walks with no real destination, trying something delicious and insisting you have a bite. Taking more photos together. Finding new reasons to laugh until we forget what started it.
And all those places we still want to see! I love imagining us there, making memories we’ll talk about later. The best part is getting to share them with you.
You are my favourite person to kiss, to be silly with, to dream with. I’m so happy there is an us, Anna. I love you, and I’m looking forward to so much more of our life together.
Here’s to you, to me, and to all our beautiful tomorrows.
